good morning,

and thanks, Lift...

haven't felt this 'edge' in a long time... little nervous, little scared, completely uncertain of what I'm going to see/experience/accomplish... and waaaaaaaaaaaaay excited at the opportunity... My wife can't wait for it to be OVER, cuz I"m drivin her crazy... no idea what to open with or what to attempt, just wanting to have the experience and feel successful at the end of the day...

did a little work yesterday, doesn't really qualify for its own post...

squat: 5 x 3 x 315
bench: 5 x 3 x 275
deadlift: 5 x 3 x 315

some stretching, little bit of triceps, and done... next post likely after the meet on saturday or sunday... taking the westside approach, and going to count the meet as My singles day, starting a new cycle on monday...

have a great day,

Wow, thats weird.
We moved the board to a new server about 2 weeks ago but it was only down for about 15 minuets. Are you seriously missing posts? If so I'm wondering if anyone else is also.

Sorry for the trouble.

good morning,

ayup, two weeks worth of posts Lift...

posted how the meet went and what I've been doing since... two messages, one to you on the new server thread, and one to DFBB76712 asking where everybody was... private message to you on wednesday asking the same thing... just gone... but they'd show up on MY computer... far as I could tell I was the only one posting, and I tried four different machines at three different locations...

I'll get everything reposted eventually, but it may not have the same 'flavor'... lost a blog post or three as well... talking about the meet and such...

have a great day,

Wow, sorry for all of that Coach.
The old server was left running as a backup in case the transfer failed,,, but the DNS (domain name servers) was updated immediately to point to the new server.

(This is "web speak" now). It can take up to 48 hours for dns changes to propagate however it is usually much less. I can't imagine how you were logging into the older server :hmm:

I wish that I could get those post back for you. Everything is backed up but I can't merge the old with the new. Sorry :o

good morning,

I used My one rep week of wendler the week of competition... posted slightly over 1000 pound total, which is a Texas record for My category, but I weighed the night before, not the day of... so it didn't count.... see blog for complete write up...

the last two weeks, I"ve half stepped... thought I'd make it to the nationals in killeen tx this weekend past, and it didn't happen... we fought off going to the hospital with My wife again instead...

sooooooooooooo that said, I'm starting fresh cycle of lifting today, with about a six day total lay off other than yard work and general fitness stuff...

I'll start posting those workouts tomorrow...

have a great day...

How frustrating but one heck of an accomplishment none the less.
Congratulations Coach!!!!

(I hope that your wife is well)

Update: Had to edit this post Coach after reading your last blog entry,,,,,
...what it feels like to be Man enough to just get onto the platform and DO it... in front of mebbe a 1000 or so folks... big crowd at this meet...

...what it feels like at the end of the day to hear your name called as class champion... that's been a long time since the LAST time...

...what it feels like to compete again, 25 years after My last competition of any kind...

... what it feels like to get up the next day, completely drained, body and spirit, but knowing that you actually DID something in this sport you love so much...
Now That's Inspirational :clapping:
