Their CEO has entered a guilty plea to selling steroid containing products as supplements.

I used to contact Ryan directly back when bodybuilding.com was a much smaller site and found him to be a good person to work with and liked the guy. While I am certainly not excusing the sale of steroid containing supplements,,, I seriously doubt that Ryan personally knew that products being sold at bodybuilding.com actually contained steroids. Also,,, are we speaking of steroids in the classical sense or reclassified pro-hormones. Not trying to thread a needle with this question,, however pro-hormones were legal for years and latter reclassified as steroids and banned. I can understand a legitimate supplement company using pro-hormones in a supplement, but not prescription steroids. Hard to imagine.

Still,, Ryan is the CEO and this is where the buck stops. I wish him the best.
