Just wondering how many people do traps and rear delts on their shoulder workout or back workout.

I do rear delts with shoulders actually the first exercise immediately after warming up with rotator cuffs rotations. I do them first to give them priority to keep them in balance with the other delt heads as you can really tell when they are behind on stage. Therefore, I employ the "Weider Priority Principal" with my rear delts. :D

I don't do traps directly because they outgrow my shoulders when trained directly. They also respond well to deadlifts as I use them to help me lockout.

Shoulders for sure. I also try to get a second workout on my left side rear delt at some point during the week as it's lagging behind. I guess painting all day with the right hand gives the right side rear delt an edge.

Well I do upper body one day and lower body another

so upper body includes traps, delts, lats, pecs, bi/tris

I might move the chest out to lower body day but i like keeping all back/shoulder muscles in workout for a few reasons. I dont need to work my biceps with lots of extra sets, My arms arent over worked and get a good rest, I get an overall pain over my back rather then having to deal with certain muscles hurting on a given day.
Current stats: 5'7", 155lbs, ~14% bf through BIA
I am no expert everything I say is an educated opinion at best!
Don't make excuses, if you are not getting there work hard, use knowledge, be patient and reap the rewards.

I personally hit traps and rear delts with shoulders but there is no right or wrong is purely personal preference and every bodybuilder and pro does it differently.

They are both hit indirectly with back and rows anyway so if you hit them with shoulders directly it's almost like they get git twice.

It's a pull exercise so it makes more sense to train it with back.

Shoulders are a push.

I train them with back.
