I just joined up here because I've liked what I've seen so far and I've been looking for some like minded folk.

I've always been athletic, starting as a classical ballet dancer in my youth (semi-pro). Then when I went to college I got into running which led to competitive cycling and triathlon. I most recently competed in Ultras (running races over the marathon distance). Now that can burn you out.

I felt I was running myself ragged rather than getting more fit. I've done weights on and off through the years, but now I think it's time to concentrate on them more and build a strong healthy and beautiful body. I love the look of natural female bodybuilders, so I guess that's my ideal.

I work out 5-7 days a week. 5-7 days a week of cardio (running with my pal in my avatar) and I lift weights 3-4 times a week.

Thanks for reading!

you are headed in the right direction and tell this to women all the time at the gym, lift lift and lift again and use weights that are heavy for you! It's truly the way to go for the best overall you!

Thanks guys! And yes, I do lift as heavy as I can. I like it. And I'm not one of those gals whose afraid of getting big. I want to be naturally muscular and cut.

My legs are already pretty muscular and defined, back in my bike racing days my nickname was Quadzilla. I'm concentrating on my delts, biceps/triceps, lats and abs. To get a 6-pack would be awesome!
