I switched to ON Natural Whey about 2 years ago and to be honest I haven't tried anything different since.

Support your local farms, if possible, $5 a half gallon of milk and $4 dollar a dozen eggs can be steep but seeing the cows grazing and chickens roaming out in the fields does make me feel I am doing my part.

Thanks for that. Yes, that's the real price of milk/eggs when you don't subscribe to factory farming and the atrocious conditions that the animals must endure.

Unfortunately, I'm not aware of any "free-range" whey, casein, or egg protein powders. What most people don't realize is that soy protein isolate has the same PDCAAS (protein quality score) of 1.0 that whey and egg have. (That's higher than either chicken or beef.) Non-GMO soy protein isolate powders are typically about $10/lb., which is roughly 400 grams of protein per lb. -- fairly economical.

I currently use ISO Flex for pre and post workout with just water...added peanut butter one day and that was a mistake. Smelled like barf and taste was not too pleasing LOL. Bedtime I use Dymatize Blueberry Muffin XL...damn that stuff is good. I usually use two scoops of that stuff for bed.

Also I really TRY to cut down on my shakes for the day but with limited quality food sources at school and my apartment *live with my brother who has yet to join my bandwagon* I get limited to A LOT of chicken. But my question is any good MRP's actually out there? Low Carb would be cool but something I could take at school only when I am into designing projects and don't have to go downstairs to eat either pizza or other junk. Only good things we actually do have to eat are salads mixed with veggies, eggs and turkey and ham or a chicken salad. Just the dressings they have are not up to par. I usually take the Honey Mustard for the extra carbs since I am diabetic and the salads tend to run me low after an hour or so lol.

My favorite so far (and I've tried a few) is Vital Whey from Well Wisdom. Anybody else tried this one, or know of any other super clean protein powders?

Ok,,, I just picked up 2 more 5lb buckets of Dymatize Elite Natural Whey (Rich Chocolate). Over the years I tried most everything out there but this has to be my absolute favorite. For a long time I was stuck on ON 100% Natural Whey but for now I'm sticking with Dyamtize Elite natural.

It is a bit pricy but I did pick up 2 5lb tubs for $37.90 ea. That was a lot lower then other sources.

The sweetener used is Stevia which is derived from a South American herb. Stevia is all natural with no calories. Great stuff!!!

I like True Athlete. I can't handle Splenda and it contains Stevia.

NOW Brand. 100% Whey Isolate Unflavored Unsweetened. No Artificial Anything.

Mixed with dextrose it tastes like sweet milk and the digestive track loves it as well.....

Vital Whey from Well Wisdom is the best I've found. It's a grass-fed, non-denatured wp concentrate and is also non-GMO, no antibiotics used, etc. The vanilla and cocoa are sweetened only with stevia. Here's a link www.wellwisdom.com/all-immune-enhancing-products/
