keep it simple and stick with the monohydrate the most tested and proven one of them all!

Creatine is a nitrogenous organic acid that occurs naturally in vertebrates and helps to supply energy to all cells in the body, particularly muscle, increasing the formation of adenosine triphosphate. Creatine is produced naturally in the human body from amino acids primarily in the kidneys and liver.

I agree that mono hydrate is the most tested of them all, and think that everyone shoul;d start there. But some people don;t react ideally to monohydrate and Kre Alkalyn can be a great alternative.

monohydrate is the way to go...any other compound or compounds are work arounds to the discomforts of monohydrate. The monohydrate is more effective in loading phase while Kre-Alkalyn probably can be taken right away. Again I choose monohydrate all day.

Ditto--I'm underwhelmed by any kind of "buffered" creatine formula. There's no evidence that creatine needs to be buffered or altered to be effective. Stick with mono.

Speaking of creatine, I know that your body can synthesize it from other amino acids. I've always wondered whether supplementing with creatine inhibits such natural creatine production over the longer term -- much in the same way that constant use of testosterone boosters eventually may have deleterious effects on your own production of testosterone without them. (Hence the advice about cycling them.) I generally don't use bodybuilding supplements, so I have no first-hand experience here.

I've tried them all over the years and Kre-AlkalynEFX is by far the best in my opinion. All the others upset my gut and gave me the runs. Maybe I just have a sensitive digestive system. But I'm getting good results with Kre-alkalyn and no bloating or upset gut.

I have to admit that it blows me away how well creatine works,,, and its cheap too.
When I first tried creatine shortly after it first hit the market it was expensive, I seem to recall paying $70 for about 500 grams, still, I was amazed with the results. I can't think of any other supplement that returns strength and mass results so quickly.

I know there are many schools of though with regards to creatine, however i've taken it quite a few times on/off
and i swear it makes me more agressive lol. I know i know,
there is no evidence to support whatever, but that's how i
get. short fused, moody etc.. I think i overheard someone
mention that moodyness can be caused by de-hydration, and
since creatine mobilizes alot of water, i suppose this could
be the reason!
