Have you always been in shape? You bet! Have always been active and love working out!

How did you get started in physique competitions? Went to soooo many and loved the dedication all the competitors showed! Needed a reason to take my training to the next level. Well….I needed a reason to stick to a diet and cardio..hahaha

Describe your training philosophy: Its all about a personal best. When you get on stage you should be trying to beat you at your last show. Don’t worry about anyone else.
What are your favorite exercises? Have lots! But….leg press with resistance bands is at the top. Hammer curl holds on a power plate is up their also! It always changes for me because your body adapts so whatever gets the deepest burn!

What is your diet like in the off season? FUN!!!! Hahaha! Well.. I switch my thinking from having a maximum to having a minimum. So with that being said if you just binge you will get your calories but not the right carbs, fat and protein you need to grow. Set the min amount of good food you must eat a day just like in your cutting diet but add whatever you want on top of it. You will find you do not have much more room for junk. Try to keep the sugars down(not easy!)
Describe your diet during contest prep: Meals every 3 hours. I keep it simple. Eggs and oats for 3 meals and chicken and rice 3 meals. Very simple I know. Almonds for a snack. Every Friday I spike my calories by upping portions and add a steak meal in.

What supplements have worked for you? Glutamine, Creatine, Nyrix! I switch brands after every bottle because you will find they all have something a little different in them.

What advice would you give to aspiring athletes? Have the right motive! This is the sport of sports. If you have a weakness bodybuilding will test it. Be ready for a battle. You must know why you’re doing it. I do it to make the best body I can. If your thinking to beat others that comes years after. Be your best and then beat that!

What have you learned about yourself as a physique competitor? If you can do bodybuilding you can do anything. I have learned so much about family and friends. They really are the most important thing in life. With bodybuilding you must cut time and meals with them. You would be shocked how much time is spent with food and social aspects. You cherish the time so much more with the ones you care about.

What are your plans for the future? hahaha! Well…it’s a big one but I would like to be a IFBB Pro someday. Short term I would like to win a overall in the next year and grow to the top of my weight class.
