Have you always been in shape? No, I actually never played a sport in my life. My brother was hemopillac so we were not an athletic family.

How did you get started in physique competitions? I did a 90 day transformation program on my own and had amazing results. From there I got into competing.

Describe your training philosophy: I train hard, smart, hard and efficiently. When I am at the gym I am totally focused and give it 100%. I love to feel strong and empowered.

What are your favorite exercises? Legs press, Walking Lunges and Deadlifts. Any ab exercise with weight added to it.

What is your diet like in the off season? I don’t deviate too much, but will make exceptions for pizza, chocolate and ice cream J

Describe your diet during contest prep: Chicken, Sweet Potato, Oatmeal, Brown Rice, Broccoli, Salmon and Orange Roughy and lots of veggies

.What supplements have worked for you? BSN Astrophex, BSN Syntha -6 Protein Powder and Xpel to cut water before a competition.

What advice would you give to aspiring athletes? Talk to others who have accomplished what you want to do. They are full of knowledge and love to help.

What have you learned about yourself as a physique competitor? Fitness makes me feel strong. Not only in the gym but in every area of my life. I have gained confidence and a strong drive to set goals and push forward no matter what.
What are your plans for the future? I am working to earn a Pro Card in figure. I just started doing some fitness modeling and I will be writing an e book on health and wellness. The sky is the Limit.
