Have you always been in shape? Nope, but I have been really skinny How did you get started in physique competitions? Instead of admiring all the gorgeous figure girls, I wanted to be one.
Describe your training philosophy: My weakest bodyparts get trained the heaviest, and first in the week. My better bodyparts get moderate weight and higher reps. What are your favorite exercises? Anything with shoulders, deadlifts and abs exercises What is your diet like in the off season? Pretty much the same as in-season but I add spices. Describe your diet during contest prep: Dry chicken, sweet potatoes, brown rice/pasta, broiled salmon tilapia, top sirloin and plenty of green vegetables.
What supplements have worked for you? Arson and Taraxatone.
What advice would you give to aspiring athletes? Don't aspire to be like anyone else but yourself.
What have you learned about yourself as a physique competitor? I need to work smarter, not harder.
What are your plans for the future? To win a Figure or Bikini show..maybe both, and keep trying to find a gym that will hire me as a trainer. I would also like to be a contributor to publications that celebrate natural athletes.
