Athlete Profile: Tara Jones

I'm Tara Jones, I'm a wife and mother of one 6 year old boy. I work with autistic young adults and  I love making a difference in their lives daily. I enjoy my work.

I also served in the United States Navy for 4 years on the USS Enterprise.

I began my weight loss journey January 2009 looking to lose some weight to lower my blood pressure and get off the medication. I've lost 30lbs since then and no longer take medication for my blood pressure.  That is also when I made the decision to compete in a bodybuilding competition.

Hello Ms. Tara, your story has inspired me. I have been working out for about 3 months now but I would like to compete next year. Thanks
